All they asked was to have their engagement session in some trees. Luckily for us, we all live super close to some super cool trees. We decided to meet up along Skyline Blvd at a trailhead to Purisma Creek. Brad and I hiked here once with his parents when they were in town. I remember thinking that I needed to remember that spot for a photoshoot. Hooray for remembering! And Google Saved Places. 😂 As we got out the car, I found out that Nathan had just sprained his knee and was on crutches. COOL. So we got to test our powers of sitting and standing with our weight mostly on one leg. It really was quite the adventure.
Also, I got a tick bite! At first I was like… that’s a new mole. And then NOPE. I pulled it out real quick and was nervous for the rest of the shoot.
Photography tip of the day: If you’re have a photography session among lots of tall trees, meet up between two and three hours before sunset. If you wait too long, you’ll be in too much shade. You want light streaming through the trees!
