Angeline is a geologist, so it seemed natural that we have their engagement shoot at Coyote Hills, a hilly, rocky hiking trail in Fremont, just minutes from where they’ll be getting married. She let me know about various birds (coots and owls and cranes) that live in the nature preserve and all about the Mesozoic rocks that we climbed all over. Take note of the dinosaurs on her dress, which is her favorite of her dinosaur dresses.
No matter how cold we were, we still had a great time hiking around and watching out for snakes.
These two will be getting married at Ardenwood Historic Farm, one of our absolute favorite venues. Here are a few other galleries from Ardenwood: Charles and Mandy, Quentin and Lissy, Adam and Olivia, Erica and Mikey. Seriously. We cannot say enough nice things about Ardenwood! The people there are amazing, it’s so gorgeous for photos, the food is amazing.
This East Bay engagement really shows off the beauty of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Photography tip: We all know that Golden Hour is the best time to shoot, but blue hour is also amazing! It’s the hour just after the sun goes down. The light is soft and romantic. So next time you shoot, don’t put your camera away just because the sun goes down! Hang tight and take a few more in the blue light.
Congratulations 🎉🎈 🕉️!!
