Hanna and Ethan have been dating for two years in Utah, but they wanted to come spend the long President’s weekend out of the snow. They flew out with a few family members and adventured all around the coast. Ethan texted me with his ideas for the proposal, and we settled on the Ritz Carlton. And yes, that was an amazing idea. It ended up being a totally perfect night for a beach proposal.
This shoot confirmed that I am meant to be a spy. It was so fun roaming around trying not to be seen. I took a few friends to act as my models. We followed Ethan and Hanna to the beach to escape all the people. I stayed far away with my 85mm lens. Then as soon as Ethan got down onto his knee, I ran up to get some closer photos. Hanna probably thought I was crazy, but whatever. I’m used to that. 🙂 Once they had their moment, I introduced myself, and we got a few engagement photos. Check out how cute these are.
Photography tip: ALWAYS SHOOT AT SUNSET. There’s nothing better. Hmm… actually… sunrise is good too. hmm.
