Brad was out on a walk with Emily, and I was sitting on the couch with my mom. We were watching a show, not really paying attention to the world around us. But then we saw this darling couple walk by with a dog and three others. We watched through the patio fence at they posed themselves for some group photos, some selfies, and some photos of just the couple. After a few minutes we realized what was happening. They were taking wedding photos! I grabbed my camera and ran out.
“Do you guys want some photos?”
They said sure and handed me their phone.
“No, no. I mean, do you want me to take some photos?” I motioned to my camera and said, “I’m a wedding photographer. I noticed you taking photos out here, and I thought you’d want some professional shots.”
Of course, they said yes. Turns out they live just a few doors down from us, and they had just gotten married on their patio! Wild. So with just five or ten minutes, we got some portraits of Jake and Kaleigh, the newlyweds, right in front of our apartment.
